Please take a moment to read the exhibitor manual, which will provide you with all of the necessary information to help make your participation in the Show more profitable and enjoyable.

The Show Office will be set up at PRAIRIELAND PARK on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 8:00 am and management will be available to assist you for the duration of the Show.

Shipping/Delivery Instructions

Please note that Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation will NOT ACCEPT shipments PRIOR to Monday, February 22, 2010, on behalf of an exhibitor. If you require pre-show shipping of your exhibit materials, REIMER EXPRESS LINES LTD. is set up to receive, store and deliver your display materials. Please see Services Offered.

Deliveries commencing on Monday, February 22 will be received at the Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation, Hall D. Hours for delivery are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm during move-in and 9:00 am - 4:30 pm during show days.

All shipments scheduled for delivery Monday, February 22, 2010 should be consigned to

The Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation Show Office is open from 8:00am, Monday, February 22, 2010 to 10:00pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2010. The Show office will be staffed one hour before show opening, as well as during Show hours.

Show Entrance

Use the main entrance of Saskatoon Prairieland Park and proceed to Hall D.

Show Entry (Early Access)

Exhibitors are permitted to enter the premises one hour before Show opening via the Exhibitors’ entrance. Security personnel will only allow those with an Exhibitor Badge to enter.

Admission Costs

On-site registration: Free of charge to qualified industry personnel.

Latecomers/No Shows

Any space not claimed or occupied, or for which no special arrangement has been made prior to 8:00 pm Monday, February 22, 2010, may be resold or reassigned by Show Management without any obligation.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED FOR UNUSED DISPLAY SPACE.

Mechanical Conveyances

Electric carts, scooters, roller blades, skateboards or bicycles will not be allowed in the aisles during the Show hours. The only exception to this rule will be in the case of disabled persons visiting the Show and in the case of authorized Show duty personnel.

Opening Day

Saskatoon Prairland Park Corporation staff will sweep out the building night before opening day on Tuesday. Debris not ready for removal by the night of Monday February 22, 2010, will be picked up at the Exhibitors’ expense. Please ensure aisles are clear.

Personal Conduct

Show Management reserves the right to refuse admission to the Show building to any visitor, exhibitor, or any exhibitor’s employees who, in the opinion of Management, is unfit, intoxicated or in any way disrupting the Show.

Safety Measures

Exhibitors who are showing equipment in a moving operating condition are required to provide every possible precaution for the safety of Show visitors, their own operators, and exhibit personnel.

WorkSafe SK regulations stipulate that no minors under the age of 16 years will be permitted on-site during move-in and move-out hours.

Signs/Banners

All hanging signs/banners must be ordered through and pre-approved by Show Management.

Staffing Of Exhibit

Exhibitors are required to staff their exhibits at all times during the hours of the Show. Security is an added problem when booths are not staffed. Exhibitors are reminded that Show Management does NOT assume any responsibility for losses; therefore, exhibitors are required to take all reasonable precautions to protect their own property, including insurance.

Smoking

All indoor spaces of the Saskatoon Prairieland Park are Non-Smoking.

Exhibitors only are permitted to smoke outside the premises. There is a designated smoking area outside Hall D.

Services offered

Aisle Carpet

The color of the aisle carpet will be GREEN.

Audio Visual Equipment

Audio-visual equipment must be kept at sound levels that do not interfere with adjacent Exhibitors.

All large-screen A/V presentations must be approved in advance by Show Management.

Deluxe Booth

The colour of deluxe booths will be:

Booth carpet: BLUE
Draped table: BLUE

Drape Colour

The colors of the draping will be:

8’ Backwall: GREEN and WHITE
3’ Sidewall: GREEN

Exhibit Restrictions

Show Management reserves the right to restrict those displays that unduly hamper visibility to other displays. Show Management reserves the right to make final decisions in this regard at any time.

Height Limitations & Appearances

For display purposes, free-standing bulletin boards, signs, etc. may be used provided that neighboring exhibitors are not hidden from view. Unfinished sides or backgrounds must be draped. Racks and display shelves must not unduly obstruct the visibility of adjacent exhibits. Show Management’s decision on these matters is final.

NOTE: All unfinished booth backs must be finished or show management will drape at exhibitors cost.

Unions/Labour

Exhibitors are requested to contact Hub City Display Ltd. for all installations and removal of displays. Exhibitors must observe all union contracts and labour regulation agreements in force with the appointed show decorators (Hub City). All work and installations required by the exhibitor shall be carried-out by the union decorator who is in a contractual relationship with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

The above does not apply to pre-constructed or prefabricated displays or materials.

Facility Information & Services - Roundup Centre
Care Of Building, Floors, Wall And Ceilings

Painting, nailing or drilling of floors, walls, ceilings or any part of the building is not permitted. When laying any floor covering you must use an adhesive that will not damage the floor and is easily removed.

Double backed tape, normally used to secure many types of floor coverings, will NOT be allowed in Prairieland Park. The only acceptable tape for securing carpeting and other floor coverings is DUCT TAPE. Duct tape is available from Prairieland Park Services office. Removal is the responsibility and at the expense of the Exhibitor. No signs or other articles are to be fastened to ceiling, walls, pipes or electrical fixtures.

NOTE: No vehicles will be permitted to enter Prairieland Park if they are leaking any type of fluids. Exhibitors are requested to check their vehicles and trailers prior to move-in and move-out of the Show.

First Aid

Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation is equipped with First Aid supplies. The First Aid supplies are available through any Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation staff on radio.

Please report ALL accidents and/or injuries to First Aid or stadium staff personnel and Show Management.

Food & Beverage Samples

Exhibitors planning to sell or sample food or beverages must contact Saskatoon Prairieland Corporation and provided specific information about items being offered. Note sample sizes are limited to two (2) ounces of liquid and one (1) ounce container of food product.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to restrict the access of visitors with food and/or beverages from their display area. This is at the exhibitor’s discretion.

Security Service

Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation provides 24 hour patrol of the building.

Exhibitors should be aware that individual booth security is NOT provided. Please ensure that the appropriate measures are taken to secure booths and valuables. If individual booth security is required, please Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation Event Manager.
